Australia New Zealand
Australia New Zealand Superlink Enrolment - General English Programmes
(Students wanting to do Cambridge courses on a Superlink, must check the prices as Colleges have different rules)
Why spend your time in one city when you can experience two beautiful cities in Australia and New Zealand?
An exciting programme offered by the GEOS Oceania colleges - the SUPERLINK PROGRAMME – has proved to be very popular for our prospective students.
With the Superlink programme, students are able to make the most of their study abroad experience by studying in TWO cities for the price of ONE.
Based on a minimum of 20 paid weeks of English tuition for GEOS Australian Colleges and minimum of 12 paid weeks for GEOS New Zealand Colleges, students can study at any two of the GEOS colleges in Australia and New Zealand, and their airfare between the two cities is FREE! An added advantage for students is they only need to pay one registration fee for the two cities, and their homestay booking fee is at a greatly reduced price.
For students wishing to combine Perth, Cairns or Adelaide with a New Zealand school, or Perth or Adelaide with Cairns, a return airfare to Sydney is offered. The student must pay for their onward flight from Sydney. All other city combinations include a FREE return air ticket.
Conditions
- Applies to ANY TWO Oceania Colleges (subject to exception in clause 12)
- Minimum enrolment is 20 weeks paid tuition (unless otherwise approved). Students may elect to do any combination of 20 weeks provided there is a minimum of 4 weeks at one school.
- GEOS Oceania Superlink MUST ORIGINATE FROM OVERSEAS. It may not be booked within Australia or New Zealand UNLESS it is a new enrolment from within those countries. Therefore, a student who has already commenced a course
- GEOS International Schools Oceania CANNOT alter the registration to a Superlink.
- Tuition fee will be A$310 per week for GEOS Australian Colleges and NZ$355 per week for GEOS New Zealand Colleges. Regional specials prices DO apply (check with your Manager) including scholarship/’free’/’present’ weeks (but please note that it is based on 20 PAID weeks). One enrolment fee of A$ or NZ$ 200 is charged and retained by the first College – depending on the hosting currency of the first College. Accommodation placement fee is invoiced at AU$90 or NZ$75 for each college.
- Health Cover for the visa length (both Colleges plus 4 weeks) is invoiced by the first College, if both colleges are in the same country. If the enrolment is in Australia AND New Zealand, only the Australian school needs to invoice for their part (New Zealand Health Cover is compulsory but it is up to the student to choose his/her provider – from New Zealand or overseas).
- First College enrols the student and sends the documents to the agent, cc’ing the second college. First college also sends the enrolment form to the second college (Sometimes the agent may send enrolment forms to both Colleges). Second College prepares documents for their portion of the enrolment and forwards these to the agent and cc’s the first College.
- When full payment is received, the first College confirms receipt with the second College and both Colleges issue the Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (ECOE) (GEOS Australian Colleges only) for their portion of the enrolment and email them to the agent cc’ing the other college. Although New Zealand does not have an ECOE system, the GEOS New Zealand Colleges will follow the same procedure, issuing the Offer of Place.
- Note: On the Australian ECOE, for the question “Provider arranged Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)” the second College chooses to records “NO”. Then they need to record in “Comments” that the other College (Name) will be arranging health cover for the entire time. The first College will then also have to record that they will be arranging for health cover for the entire time on their ECOE. This will have to be coordinated by the two people preparing the ECOEs.
- In due course, the first College will book the RETURN airfare (if required) and invoice the second College for their portion of the expense. Airfares will be divided up proportionately to the weeks each College has received.
- Exceptions: We do not pay for the full airfare for enrolments between Perth - New Zealand, Cairns - New Zealand, Perth – Cairns, Adelaide – Cairns, Adelaide – New Zealand (only by special arrangement). Enrolments between these destinations can include a ticket to Sydney and the student needs to arrange and pay for the flights from there. GEOS Oceania Superlink does not include Cape Town (see Southernlink).
- Cancellations: Students wishing to cancel their Superlink must give 4 weeks notice of their intention to do so. The same rules regarding transferring of students and or GEOS International Schools
Oceania GEOS International Schools Oceania cancellations will apply to Superlink students. There is no fee associated with the free airfare and students may not request a refund of the ticket purchased.
